The cooling media/seawater side is fully accessible without disconnecting the semi-welded plate heat exchanger from the pipework.

BRAZED PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER:

Brazed plate heat exchanger are most likely used for small cooling capacities. Because of the low-cost, it is not worthwhile to clean the heat exchanger at all. If it clogs, it will just be replaced.
